
Mohamed Agbaria was born in Umm al-Fahm. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Bar-Ilan University in 2018. He completed his M.Sc. under the supervision of Prof. N. Gabriel Lemcoff at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he investigated the transformation of alcohols into organic halides. In fall 2020, he joined the Nairoukh Group at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as a Ph.D. student, where his research focused on the construction of N-aliphatic heterocyclic scaffolds via dearomatization reactions. In 2025, he joined the Marek Group as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on the development of novel ring-opening reactions of highly substituted cyclopropane.
