Laura Levy

Laura was born in France and obtained her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2019. She joined the graduate engineering school of chemistry and digital science CPE Lyon and graduated with a master’s degree in 2023. During her master’s, she joined the research group of Prof. Marek for an internship working on the  enantioselective synthesis of cyclopropenes. She then joined the research group of Prof. Baran at Scripps Research Institute for an additional internship working on electrocatalytic decarboxylative cross-coupling reactions. She completed her master’s thesis under the guidance of Dr. Graham de Ruiter at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology on Fe(0) catalyzed Kumada cross-coupling reactions. She started her PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Marek in 2023 and is currently working on alkene isomerization.
