Nikolai was born in 2001 in Yakutsk, Republic of Sakha (currently part of Russia). He completed his specialist degree at D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (Moscow) in 2024, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. D. Loginov, focusing on the synthesis of organorhodium compounds and their application in homogenous catalysis. In 2025, Nikolai joined the research group of Prof. Ilan Marek, currently working on project for corrective “metal-walk” within Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network CATALOOP.
