Tharwat was born in Jatt in 1994. He received his B.Sc in Chemistry from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. After completing his studies in 2018, he began his career in the chemistry industry at Gauzy – a company specializing in advanced smart-glass technologies and optical solutions – where he worked for six years and eventually got the role of production supervisor. In 2025, he began his M.Sc at the Technion under the supervision of Professor Ilan Marek, studying Co-walk on alkenyl cyclopropanes.
